Wind Energy

During 2008 wind energy plants with a total capacity of 1.609 MW have been installed in Spain, bringing the total capacity of wind energy to 16.740 MW at the start of 2009.

The considerable annual growth of the number of wind energy installations confirms our expectations on the potential of this form of renewable energy and furthermore confirms that the sector will easily meet the requirements of the current Renewable Energy Plan.

Within this context of sustainable growth, Zurcal has a strong focus on investment in wind energy. So far we have constructed wind parks with a total capacity of over 51 MW. Our aim is to install an additional 800MW until 2015.

ZURCAL uses qualified personnel and specialized means in all of the activities necessary to offer turnkey wind energy projects. Our activities range from the engineering of the project and supervising the construction up to providing contacts for financing the project
  

 

We select the most suitable sites for windenergy, install measuring towers, collect and analyse the windpower data and design the windpark with the best distribution of the wind towers: ensuring the best profitability of the investment.
 

 

The services related to wind energy which ZURCAL offers go beyond construction of wind parks. ZURCAL offers technical and administrative management of its projects which contribute to efficiency, for example the maintenance of the installations, insurances, invoicing and follow up.
